Sport Registrations Thursday 31st Jan and Thursday 7th Feb

Teachers will be at different positions outside the senior classes on Thursday 31st January and Thursday 7th February, between 3.15pm and 3.30pm.
Student names will be taken, fees paid, t shirts issued and hopefully teams made up. If possible, make up your own team and enter this on the registration day.
Look for the teachers below to register for each sport.
All subs must have the $10.00 t-shirt hire fee added to them. This is a one off payment for the year no matter how many sports your child is involved in.
Please be aware we need parent help in managing teams at their games and if no volunteers are available, a parent roster will need to be made so everyone has a turn.
The sports on offer so far are …

MINI SOCCER – David Coeland- outside R4
Venue – Saxton Field
Grades – The grades available are: Year 1 Fun, Year 2 Fun, Year 3/4 Fun, Year 3/4 Competitive, Year 5/6 Fun,
Year 5/6 Competitive. Those who play football already, are sporty/competitive, will be placed in a competitive team. Starts -Tuesday 26th February – 26th March
Times – 4.30pm or 5pm
Fees – $8 per player for the term + $10 t shirt hire
 All teams need a manager who organizes the team on the day and is able to ref.

JUNIOR VOLLEYBALL – Nicole Lams – outside library
Venue – Saxton Stadium
Grades – Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 or a combination of ages. 6 a side. Starts – to be confirmed
Times – between 4.00pm and 6.30pm
Fees – $35 a player plus $10 t-shirt hire.

HARDBALL CRICKET – Grant Irvine – outside R2
Venue – Various pitches around Nelson Grades – Year 5/6
Starts – Saturday 9th February
Times – 8.45am start
Fees – $35.00

SUPERSTAR KIWI CRICKET – Grant Irvine – outside R2
Venue – Saxton Field Grades – Year 1/2 Starts – 16th February Time – 9.00am
Fees – $20.00 plus $10 t-shirt hire

T-BALL – Raewyn Brenton – outside R3
Venue – Saxton Field
Grades – Y1/2, Y3/4
Starts – Saturday, 23rd February until 30th March Times – 9.00am.
Game duration – 45 minutes
Fees – $20 plus $10 t-shirt hire

THURSDAY RIPPA – Jess Drummond – outside R4
Venue – Jubilee Park
Grades – Years 3/4 and 5/6
Starts – Starts Thursday 14th March until 11th April (five weeks) Times – 4pm, 4.30pm, 5pm & 5.30pm depending on grade Fees – $5.00 plus $10 t-shirt hire
Teams of 10 max – 3 girls on field at all times

HOCKEY
Venue – Saxton Field Hockey Turf
Grades – Age 5-6, 7-9 and 9-11
Starts – Thursday 14th February
Time – 3.45pm – 4.30pm, 4.30pm – 5.30pm and 4.30pm – 6.30pm Fees – $30, 356 or $40 depending on age

Interschools tennis league
Venue – Richmond Tennis Club, Gladstone Rd.
Starts – 14th Feb for 6 weeks.
Time – 3.40pm to approx. 4.40pm. Arrive for warm up on court at 3.30pm, games start at 3.40pm, finish 4.40pm. Yr1- yr 3 players (red) work on warm up drills and move on to team singles game.
Yr 4 – 6 (orange) player’s play singles and doubles games.
Manager required per team to help score courtside & contact for rain affected days.
