Rainforest Living Museum
There were some excellent pieces of artwork on display at the Rainforest Living Museum in the hall in Wednesday June 27th. Well done to all those who contributed to this non-compulsory topic homework set at the beginning of term. Both parents and children had put a huge effort in.
PTC Quiz and Silent Auction – Big Thanks
A huge thanks to everyone who came along to the recent PTC Quiz and Silent Auction on Friday June 15th which raised $8700 to go towards our Fitness Trail. It was a great turn out and we were amazed by the generous contributions made by local businesses and individuals for the live a silent auctions. Thank you to everyone involved for a great evening. Congratulations to team “Camo Camo Camo Camo Camo Chameleon” (pictured) who scooped the best dressed team prize and to team “It’s Hot in Here Innit?” who, after a tie-break question with “Camo Camo Camo Camo Camo Chameleon” came first in the quiz.

Rainforest Art Assembly
The children had a great time at the Art Assembly on Friday 8th June showing each other their wonderful art works. You may have already seen the fantastic rainforest displays in the classrooms and in the foyer.
Swimming Lessons Term 3
We have once again been awarded Kiwisport funding for our SwimMagic swimming lessons this year. Cost will be $60 per child for 10 lessons of 25 minutes followed by 25 minutes using the other pool facilities to learn about water safely and to practise skills. The children will take a bus to and from the Aquatic Centre for their daily lesson for 2 weeks (10 days). Dates and times are as follows:
