Congratulations to our two Jump Jam teams who came second in the Year 1-4 Open AND Year 4-6 Novice sections at the 2018 Jump Jam Challenge in Christchurch at the weekend. Well done girls, teachers and parents involved! More in this week’s newsletter.
Bring along a picnic or takeaway dinner and come to see our talented pupils perform an end of year show in our outdoor performance area at school. Our Jump Jammers, Senior and Middle Syndicate Choir and Kapahaka groups will perform.
Bring along low seats, cushions or bean bags to sit on.
Performers need to be seated in front of the stage area by 5.50pm.
Don’t forget that sausage orders this term have been replaced by the Swiss Bakery orders to be placed on a THURSDAY 9AM for delivery on Friday. Please see previous post for details.
For Term 4 Friday sausage lunches have been replaced by a Swiss Bakery lunch. Orders MUST be in by 9AM THURSDAY!! They will be delivered to school on FRIDAY. Forms are available at the office or in your child’s classroom.
Items on offer are:
Ham Roll (multigrain roll, cheese, lettuce, tomato) $4
Sausage Roll $3
Slice (Raspberry or Caramel) $1
We also need more people to help ‘process orders’ on a Thursday. This can be done between 9am and 12pm. Are there any parents that would be able to help count/check money and write names of children who order on a master list on Thursday mornings once or twice a term? If you can, please contact Coral Smith at caldersley@hotmail.com or 027 242 5028.
On Wednesday September 26th, our Richmond Crusaders team competed in the Nelson Tasman Primary Academic Quiz AND WON!! Huge congratulations to William Donald, Ruby Talbot, Kieran Clark, Amelie Purdie, Sophie Hobden & Alexis Dodd who spent many night times swatting and lunchtimes preparing for the event. They were quizzed on many subjects, from New Zealand Inventions to New Marine Species to various maths topics. A very big thank you to Mrs Lams for all the work she has put in to preparing the team for the event.
